Engraved ‘DKL’, the secret wartime code denoting makers Joseph Schneider, from 1940 the origin of German military equipment was intended to be obscured from the enemy by the use of these government-issued, three-letter codes.
Wild tripod stand.
These Binoculars were used during WW2 for spotting allied planes, hence the 45 degree oculars, large field of view, and adjustable sun filters that are changeable with the large toggle switch.
Mounted on fully refurbished and highly polished Swiss tripod with adjustable legs and polished spreader bars.
