Aluminium Ocean Liner Tripod Light

One of our classic fluted cargo aluminium lights mounted on a field tripod.

Among the small range of truly iconic nautical lamps. Designed and crafted to work in the harshest conditions, a great example of how pure function results in beautiful form, so ‘marine’. Designed in the 1920’s and used on early British built ocean liners & cargo ships as well as on the gantries of famous shipbuilders like Harland & Wolff and Swan Hunter.

We have had to have these lights made these days due to the scarcity of the originals cargo lights that come from very old vessels. we commission these exact remakes to be made in short runs by a reputable lighting manufacturer, with no compromise and no expense spared.

Over the years that we have stocked these classics they have gone into some superb homes and restaurants.

The tripod is adjustable. The spreader bars lock in for extra stability.

Fitted with a CE certified bulb holder , takes a standard E27 bulb & comes wired with plug and inline switch.
