Wartime Colonial Hospital Floor Lamp – No.2

Very large statement lamp that has aged very well.

We don’t normally stray from ‘marine’ but the colonial and Allied hospital connotations drew us to these very impressive huge adjustable floor lamps when we found them earlier this year.

Originally painted but that had deteriorated so we stripped that back for the industrial look. The lamp head is adjustable via the toggle at the rear of the boom, and the boom swings on both axis freely balanced by the counterweight at the rear. Brass switch on the stem of the lamp operates the lamp as you would expect.
