RMS Windsor Castle Champagne Bucket & Stand

Heavy gauge silver plated bucket by Mappin & Webb.

Monogrammed Union Castle Line, around garter, the preceding logo to ‘British & Commonwealth’.

Put with one of the stands we bought from Claridge’s many years ago.

The bucket being one of a dozen that we salvaged from RMS Windsor Castle in 2005.

Some small minor marks and dents consumate to age, salvage and life at sea.

RMS Windsor Castle was the flagship of the Union Castle Line and used to do the run from Southampton to Jo’Burg in the 1960’s.
