MV Aureol 1951 Passenger Ship – Single Teapot

Royal Worcester single tea pot off the Elder Dempster Line Passenger Ship MV Aureol.

Built by Alexander Stephen and Sons at Glasgow in 1951.

We were at Alang to see her scrapped, then known as the ‘Marianna VI’, and subsequently bought as many fittings as we could.

Superb brown glazed pot with iridescent sheen – perfect for wintery hot chocolates.

The handle to this pot is to the back.
