A gilt edge pale grey dinner plate from the Hamburg Amerika Lines Ms Frankfurt

Specially commissioned dinner plate , with the ship & company name on the base. Gilt edging is still very slightly worn, the Hamburg Amerika’s logo in the centre of the plate is good

A very collectable shipping line , formed in 1847 as a Packet company sailing from Hamburg to New York
