Solid manganese bronze anti-magnetic stud-link chain, ex HMS Bronington, the minesweeper once Captained by King Charles.
From supplying the finest of yachts with full lengths of this golden chain it has become so scarce these days that we now prefer to cut double link sections to serve as evocative, sculptural, decorative pieces. Perfect birthday, Christening or Christmas gifts, and sculptural in that was you can see they have gorgeous form, although being designed to be purely functional.
Meaningful, tactile decor, with historical provenance. A beautiful investment piece.

*All of the the anchors, chain, and deck fittings onboard a mine-sweeper have to be non-magnetic to avoid setting off the mines hence they are all cast from bronze, a variant of bronze that has a beautiful ‘old gold’ tone to the metal, and when professionally polished and lacquered these links look like mini golden sculptures. It seems a shame to have sacrificed one link to achieve one link, but the results were well worth it as we are sure you will agree.
