Original HMS Sluys was a Royal Navy Battle class Destroyer.
She was built by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead.
Bronze painted gun tompion.
HMS Sluys joined the 1st Destroyer Flotilla. In 1947 she escorted the aircraft carrier HMS Vengeance, which was flying the flag of the First Sea Lord to Norway.
She was sold to Iran in 1967 after a major rebuild.
