‘Notable Among Her Fellows’

HMS Cygnet was a modified Black Swan-class sloop, commissioned in 1942.

An active WW2 with three Battle Honours. Her primary role involved protecting vital Allied convoys traversing the perilous North Atlantic against German U-boat attacks, a task She proved worthy of as She sank U-962 in the North Atlantic.

Other than Her Arctic and Atlantic Convoy service She was also involved in Operation Husky for the planned Allied landings of Sicily.
