A very evocative hat formerly owned and used by legend of the diving world Don Shiers on his Thames Barrier job.

The mask baring the scars from the 100’s of hours on that very difficult murky and dangerous job, but the shells and the rest of the kit is A1.

It was a privilege to meet and strike a deal with Don on his fantastic selection of kit, the stories He told me and those He could only elude to were amazing.

I promised to find this cherished historical hat a good home, so here goes.
